Coming up with a verse for a semester is always a fun challenge. It’s got to be something interesting and enduring with a lot of scope and application. This fall we’ll be talking about God’s will for your life at our House Churches.

In my opinion the biggest piece of the puzzle of God’s will for your life is faith. It touches every other area. We must believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ. If that is seen with it’s proper level of authority in our life then the rest of the decisions start to get easier.

I need some sort of tagline to end each post… any ideas?

Wow! Our TINY Summer was great! It’s now in the books and we’re clear to start looking down the road at what’s next.

Oh, and school starts in 18 days!?

We’ve got a lot of work to do to get our Move In Crew, Broomball, BBQ’s, Bible Studies and everything else in line.

In fact that’s all I’ve got time for now. I’ll check back in next week!

Didn’t think that I’d let you go without giving you baby updated did you?

We had an ultrasound today! Theo is going to have a baby brother! 🙂

We’re getting ready to wrap up our T.I.N.Y. (This Is Not Your) Summer. It’s been a great experience!

We’ve learned a lot from the 10 speakers who have come in Wednesday nights.

We’ve served and shared a lot on Sundays through our project days.

And I think we’ve had a great time with our housemates (especially those with the free housing)!

Now we get to top it off with a trip to Decorah this weekend to serve at NordicFest, get the teams together one last time for recreation, join with the church there for fellowship and take some extended time to reflect over the summer.

It should be a good weekend!
